Welcome to my personal website.
I am currently a Master's student in the Department of Astronomy at
Yonsei University, specializing in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Here, I share my research, publications, and academic journey.
ABOUT
I am a graduate student at Yonsei University. I graduated from the
Department of Astronomy and Space Science at Kyung Hee University
in February 2025 with a GPA of 4.047/4.3, and entered Yonsei
University in March 2025.
I am currently a member of the Autonomous Spacecraft and
Robotic Systems Laboratory (ASPROS),
where I conduct research under the supervision of Professor Hancheol Cho.
My research interests include vision-based navigation, space
situational awareness (SSA), and AI applications for spacecraft
systems. For my master’s thesis, I am conducting research on deep
learning-based pose estimation for non-cooperative spacecraft.
I am also collaborating with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
to develop an AI model for predicting debris trajectories in the
cislunar region. In the future, I hope to study LiDAR-based pose
estimation for unknown and uncooperative spacecraft.

NEWS
I attended the 3rd IAA Conference on AI for Space and presented collaborative research on predicting debris distribution in the cislunar region. During the conference, I joined Professor David Canales, doctoral student SeurGi Jo, and master's student Alec from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) for the conference program and related activities in Jeju. I also had the opportunity to share dinner and conversation with Professor Simone D'Amico of Stanford University and Dr. Jeff Park.
AI-Assisted Graph-Based Prediction of Debris Distribution from Periodic-Orbit Fragmentation in the Cislunar Region
I attended the 2026 KSAS Spring Conference as a member of the Autonomous Spacecraft and Robotic Systems Laboratory (ASPROS) and presented research on relative pose estimation for a non-cooperative spacecraft.
